At Long Last

At long last - the game I’ve been waiting for a year to be released - Spore. According to this article, it’s out at the end of this week. I’ve just placed my order with Play.com - it even runs on Mac OSX, well I hope!

Pretty Tired

Came back yesterday, after finishing my Seven Wonders trip. The natural wonders (Snowdon and Pistyll Rhaeadr) were great, but the other ones were a little underwhelming. Still, the history behind some of the wonders is pretty interesting.

Tintin

Looks like Spielberg is set to produce the first of the Tintin films. I’m also sure I read somewhere that Andy Serkis will be playing Captain Haddock, I wonder who will be playing Tintin?
I need to recover my complete Tintin DVD set from Nige.

Great Britain

Given that Scotland don’t want to form a GB football team for the next Olympics - should Great Britain be dissolved, just to form its constituent countries - Scotland, Wales and England? Each of which would enter the Olympics individually?

Well, now what?

The Olympics are over for another four years, damn - what to do with my TV now? Only a two year wait till Vancouver and the Winter Olympics!
It’s a good job I’ve got family and friends who live in London/London area, so hopefully I’ll be able to get to some of the events in 2012.
