Fire and UFOs

I keep having a dream about being outside and watching the sky. The sky starts to turn really black, with thunder rumbling around. A gap appears in the clouds and then huge swathes of fire rip through the air, rushing towards me.

Another quite vivid dream last night - the sky went all sparkly, then a range of UFOs came slamming down into the earth, coming towards me - I manage to jump out of the way just in time.

Have you ever had any lucid dreams?

Asleep or Awake

I woke up last night from a dream about somebody being in the house. When I awoke - I thought I was still in a hotel room, and there was my empty rucksack on the floor, with a computer case next to it. I thought I’d been robbed. It finally dawned on me that I was home and that there was nothing to worry about.

It’s very strange being in a different bedroom for nearly eleven months. You start to get disorientated about where everything is - especially where the bathroom (and its light) might be.

Cay

Have you head the word ‘cay’ before? Neither had I, till a dream I had last night. Might be related to my upcoming visit to Fiji? I’ll leave you to discover what the word means.

Essay Not Done

About once or twice a year I have a dream about not doing an essay for a university-course, that causes me to fail the whole course. I think the topic of the essay was “Why is Welding Controversial?”.

Strange huh?

being shot

Last night I had a dream that somebody shot me three times in the chest, then later I met the same person and they shot me again.

A theory here : Dream Dictionary.

horse, bath, neck

Fragments from some dreams last night:

1. Being chased around a fun-fayre (yes the medieval spelling is intentional) by people on horses; stealing pizzas and putting them outside metal-railings, to be picked up later on; taking pictures of a church.

2. Having to remove a bath from aunt’s house, but when I came to remove it - my cousin was washing up breakfast bowls in the bath, that had Alpen in them.

3. Watching somebody push a girl down some stairs and she broke her neck.

4. Talking to my aunt and uncle about them looking forward to a holiday in Belgium - they were showing me an atlas of where they were going.

howl

Strange dream about having to kill a wolf with a sword, by cutting its throat.
Then another dream about having to sit a test for 10 year-olds, as myself now. I failed the test on getting -1 + -1 = X wrong. I had to go and see the headmaster called Mr Ogilvy, to explain why I failed the test.

wedding

Had a really long dream about my wedding (not going to happen) last night. It was almost lucid in places, where I felt that I was controlling what was happening.
It was all very happy, with people giving speeches and so on. The only problem was that I never got to see my bride in the dream! So - I have no pointers as to who I should be talking to now :)

obstacles in my way

Walking around an obstacle course, with different levels of difficulty having different signs. Was doing a level 10 course and got lost at one gate. I had to walk through some bushes and had to place my feet into the footprints of the person who was ahead of me.

Go figure.

Nice to see Samsung use a dictionary - found whilst running update for mobile phone software:

Samsung - according

After getting the updates, the spelling has been fixed.

another one

Another dream. I quite like having this blog, as it reminds me to write down my dreams before I forget them.

I guess this one must have been based at a university, as I was late for a lecture. When I arrived at the lecture - I had to make my own chair, I also put my golf clubs, that I was carrying, onto a shelf. I was also late writing a twenty page essay on the subject of psychology.

I can recognise this dream as one of my major flaws: procrastination. It kicks in when I’m un-motivated and that’s happening a lot at the moment. I need stimulation. Dad’s a psychologist - so maybe that’s the link; though I’m also reading a book on clinical psychiatry at the moment, to see if I can find myself within it.
