Weekend Stuff

Met up with my best friend in London on Friday and we went to see View From a Bridge, with Ken Stott, at the Duke of York Theatre. We only had standing tickets, but my friend managed to get a box, as he’s a member of Equity and knew the usher! The play was really good, though was disrupted by Ken losing his voice, just before the interval. His replacement did a fantastic job of carrying on. It built up to an emotional ending and was absorbing all the way through.

Saturday was spent at the Guiness Premiership final at Twickenham, with another good friend from college-days. Not the most exciting of games, as the teams cancelled each other out. Well done to Leicester anyway, at least they scored a try.

Other observation(s) – a lady on the tube had scars and lots of new lacerations on her forearms, so I can only assume she’s a self-harmer. Quite difficult not to look at her and wonder what she’s going through.

I’m now listening to new music on T61, after the demise of blip.fm.

Kept expecting to see you drunk and disorderly in Richmond Saturday night! Mom and Dad came down to babysit so Andrea and I could go out for old times sake. Had they not been here you could have stayed. Simon says the play was good, shame you didn’t meet Evie.

Good luck with the Amazon book selling, I think that sounds more low risk and certainly up your street, tapping into the web etc.

    Hey Ade
Next time I’m in London, I’ll make sure I get to visit you and your family, and also to finally meet Evie!

    Cheers
