I had some thoughts about bees, while travelling to an interview during the week. As you know – honey bees are in real trouble at the moment. If you didn’t know that, then maybe you should read the news more.
Maybe technology and robotics isn’t quite there – but wouldn’t it be cool to have lots of remote-control bees, maybe even ones that could control themselves? When the bee returns from pollinating flowers, it would land at a re-charging station (to charge battery). It could have a bit of artificial-intelligence, to detect flowers that it’s already visited. Cool eh?!
