but if we all evolved from apes, does that mean we evolved from different species of apes? Was it really like “planet of the apes”? Some of us come from orangutans, some from great apes, etc.
I’m not denying what you are saying… My mum is uber religious, and I used to wonder that as well. But never liked to ask, for fear of a “godsmack”.
I think the current theory is that humans and apes share a common ancestor, not humans descending from apes.
I was watching The Tree of Life, hence the question arising.
oops, and I was watching Planet of the Apes on Saturday night…..
I guess I know which one I believe….
And is it still wrong to think that Helena Bonham Carter is more attractive as an ape, than she is as a human?
HBC is great in any form. Except maybe not in her appearance in Arthur.
