Would you be able to live without a mirror for more than a week?

A university lecturer once told us that men look at themselves in the mirror more than women do - this was according to some survey. I wanted to say that the survey must have been skewed in some manner, as women are forever looking at a mirror, doing their lippy or whatever. Men hardly look at all.
