About once or twice a year I have a dream about not doing an essay for a university-course, that causes me to fail the whole course. I think the topic of the essay was “Why is Welding Controversial?”.

I also have that dream as well. Not about essays. Mine is about a particular exam. In my final year at uni, I had a double booking in a course and couldn’t go the lectures of both of them. So I got an exemption on one of them. But I still dream that I need to pass that exam still.
Ooh, bizarre. Guess we still have lingering anxieties left hanging around.
