I’ve gone beyond being tired now, after missing a night’s sleep on the flight from Boston to Shannon (Ireland). My bag has gone missing and is probably in Dublin, hopefully returning to me at lunchtime.

Now in Boston, which is on GMT-5 – slowly working my way back to GMT. Not entirely sure my body is happy with all these changes.It’s pretty cold here, bit like the temperature that I left Canada with.

What a bizarre place. Reminds me a bit of Dubai – all flashy stuff on the surface but nothing really there underneath.Just had breakfast, now venturing into the casino to win lots of $.

Off to the top of Mauna Kea (volcano) today – 4200m high. Already been up to 1000m and 0m today, so hopefully altitude won’t be a problem.

Lots of different temperate zones on the island. One part of the island is almost desert like with 30C temperature. Other parts are tropical, other parts (at 4200m) are snowing. There are five volcanos on the island, one of which … Continue reading →

Went to SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) today. Really good exhibition, with some really interesting pieces. Feeling strange after drinking a gingerbread latte.
