Well – I bit the bullet and flew out to S.F. L.A was not my cup-of-tea really. Far too superficial – Hollywood, Beverly Hills etc.I’m now staying in quite a trendy hotel – my room is bigger than my old flat in Worcester. And the exciting news – we felt an earthquake (5.6 on the scale) that was in San Jose here. The room rumbled for about 10 seconds, bit like a big truck going by.

Oh yeah – the LAPD (undercover) stopped me at the airport, after I got dropped off by my hotel-courtesy car. Apparently only taxis and licenced vehicles are allowed to drop you off at the airport…. So I had to give ALL of my details to the cops, not entirely sure why -as it was the driver’s fault. Ah well.
