Barkerville, B.C

Drove out to Barkerville today, about a 160km round-trip. Drove past some nice lakes and stopped at one – though always reluctant to walk too far, due to being on my own and knowing about bears and cougars!! It’s the site of one of the major gold-rush areas (I’m driving along the Gold Rush Route).
