Four star hotel in Sundsvall, Sweden:
Meal and beers in an English themed pub - Fish and chips with Czech and Belgian beer.
How’s that? Can you do better?
And I did relish washing my shirts in the 4* hotel’s marble sink before I left.
Wonderings, wanderings and waffle

You can’t travel the world and then eat fish and chips
Surely you should be eating reindeer meatballs or something?
When I was in Beijing, I ate nothing but MacDonalds.
Only cos I couldn’t read anything in chinese and one of the first shops I walked past was slow cooking what might have been a greyhound.
you might as well have come back here, then least we could have joined you

you have to try macdonalds in India. No Beef burgers
I made up for it today, by having a Thai meal.
Swedish meals are, as far as I can tell, herring based. Reindeer is the same as vennison and I haven’t been into a restaurant where they serve it yet. The Swedes also have a nasty way of cooking chips WITH salt. I’m sure I almost died in Gothenburg, of salt poisoning.
