What would happen

What would happen if everybody gave up money and reverted back to trading things they made (like The Good Life)?

Timy, Timy Tim

Tim Henman must be the most frustrating person to watch in sport. Thankfully he won his five-setter today against Moya.

It’s raining, it’s pouring

Went for a walk in the rain today. Started off with light-rain, then dry, then absolutely tipped it down. Makes you feel alive to be in the outdoors, when the weather turns really nasty. Couple of pics from the walk:

After drying off, had a nice Sunday lunch then watched Shrek the Third. An enjoyable day!

Painting

Here’s a painting that my uncle has done, of my Grandpa:

Gramps

Just to explain the ladies in the background - he was given a huge poster of the Spice Girls, as a Christmas present!

Hush

Seeing all these kids floating about on Heelys reminded me of an Emmy-nominated episode of Buffy, called Hush. The whole episode was silent, but that’s not the point - the “enemies” in it floated about.

Geocaching

Looks like I’ve found an activity to do for the next few weeks - Geocaching. Just loading up some locations into GPS now, to see if I can find them.

touching

Watched the final of the Stella Artois tennis at the weekend. Was really touched when Roddick gave his racquet away to a guy in a wheelchair.

no stress is bad for me

Whenever I stop work - holidays, early-retirement ;) I get a cold. I don’t get a cold when I am under pressure. Maybe it’s a healthy situation to be under a minimum level of stress each day?

iTunes is quite dangerous

Whilst viewing a regular website - I saw a link to a YouTube video of Bat for Lashes, really liked the song - did a bit of digging around on the band - then purchased their album off of iTunes. All within the space of five minutes.

swallows

Damn, I missed the swallows fledging by 30 minutes :(
