Tooth ache
Not registered with a dentist either, so don’t know what to do - other than take painkillers.
A Celandine plant (I think):
Wonderings, wanderings and waffle

Watched the rugby in a pub in Wales on Saturday. For an English fan (though most of family has Welsh links) - it wasn’t the best place to be, when they won! Light-hearted banter….
I have an idea for a device. It would be a smallish, Wi-fi enabled, small screen that shows your google calendar. The device could be attached to a wall, as per normal calendars, or could stand up. You could enter diary entries using a stylus or similar device.
A picture of some trees, taken on a walk at the weekend. They all lean to the left, due to the really strong wind that blows on the top of the hill. Quite strange - I also took a video of the trees, but it’s 6MB in size - not really suitable for web viewing
Talking of pictures - I was given some pictures of my pre-adoptive family. It’s the first time I’ve seen a picture of my mother. I don’t know quite what to think of the pictures at the moment.

What is it about saying goodbye to colleagues that you respect, that causes me so much pain? Why the fcuk can’t it be me that is leaving?

Got tomorrow off, so time to chill out with a long weekend. Hope the weather will be good.
Not much else to report.
March 14th, 2007 — Dreams
Another dream. I quite like having this blog, as it reminds me to write down my dreams before I forget them.
I guess this one must have been based at a university, as I was late for a lecture. When I arrived at the lecture - I had to make my own chair, I also put my golf clubs, that I was carrying, onto a shelf. I was also late writing a twenty page essay on the subject of psychology.
I can recognise this dream as one of my major flaws: procrastination. It kicks in when I’m un-motivated and that’s happening a lot at the moment. I need stimulation. Dad’s a psychologist - so maybe that’s the link; though I’m also reading a book on clinical psychiatry at the moment, to see if I can find myself within it.

Dreamt that grandparents were dying (only got one grandparent left in reality) and that I had to see them. My grandfather wanted to put a spade into the ground, as his last wish - so I helped him to get out of his chair and stick a spade in the ground. He then lied back down and died, as did my grandmother at the same time.
Then had another dream about a Red Arrow being attached to a merry-go-round and seeing my uncles singing.
Odd.
March 12th, 2007 — music
Two albums I’ve purchased recently that haven’t impressed me much:
Norah Jones - Not Too Late (only like one track - Sinkin’ soon)
The Fiery Furnaces - Bitter Tea (just too strange, will think twice about Amazon recommendations again).

Looks like the England rugby team have the seeds of a good team, lots of options at number 10 now, so not quite the reliance on Wilkinson anymore. Mind you - France didn’t really turn up for the game, which made it much easier.
Here’s a cliff face in Pembrokeshire:

A BBC article on the concern over Wi-fi is an interesting read. It does concern me that we are continually bombarded with radiation - mobile phone, microwaves, Wi-fi, radiation from electricity pylons and god knows what other UHFs that are transmitted.
Are you concerned?

Apparently men aren’t allowed to wear brown shoes to meetings. They must wear a tie and a suit as well; the tie must be done up.
And women? Not allowed to show their belly buttons. That’s just superb. Women can pretty much wear what they like, men must be formal.
Here’s a picture of some foxgloves (digitalis (extracted from foxgloves) can be used for heart-attack victims).
